Every label has a story. Follow one bottle of groundnut oil from our press in Vijayawada, to a supermarket shelf in Guntur, to the bill at the counter.
It begins on the press
Krishna Oils sends us the artwork for their new groundnut oil label. We print it on a roll of label stock one colour at a time: green, then gold, then cream, then a UV varnish. A rotary die cuts each label to shape.
One roll becomes three
The wide roll runs through rotary knives and splits into lanes. Each lane rewinds as its own roll, on the core that Krishna Oils' labelling machine takes.
Packed for the journey
The three rolls go into a Fortune Pack carton, standing on edge. The carton is taped shut and gets a shipping label addressed to Krishna Oils.
Out of Vijayawada
The carton is loaded into our van and leaves for the Krishna Oils bottling unit.
A bottle gets its label
On the bottling line the liner bends sharply over the peel plate. The label carries straight on and wraps a fresh bottle of groundnut oil. The brand is ready for the shelf.
Plain labels send it on
Cases of oil are ready for Sri Lakshmi Supermarket in Guntur. At the dispatch desk a Fortune Pack plain label roll prints the shipping label for each case and the price label for the shelf.
The bill at the counter
A shopper in Guntur picks the bottle off the shelf and pays at the counter. The receipt printer runs on a Fortune Pack thermal roll, and the groundnut oil is the first line on the bill.
Three products, one story
Printed labels carry the brand. Plain labels move it through the supply chain. Thermal rolls print the sale. All three are made in Vijayawada, with samples on request.
